The Narvaez Family

This is my most recent shoot, so maybe I am partial because of that (!), but documenting a day in the life of this family has been a blessing to me personally.
When I look at the slideshow I think immediately that I wish I had something like this for myself.. & that it captures this family so well... the laughter, the silliness, the baby's tears... all of it!
What I feel most grateful for though is that you can see how they feel about one another.. you can see the love, and it is precious.
There is something extraordinary about capturing emotion in the everyday moments.
I am so thankful.

Meredith and Matt

Congratulations to Meredith and Matt on their wedding! I had the pleasure of hanging out with them at the Japanese Gardens, and getting some lovely engagement shots. They are so sweet and respectful towards one another.
One of the neat things about this job is that you actually get relationship reminders... they, in particular, make me remember to be mindful of the people in my life, and how habits like gentleness of speech and respect are so important to carry, always.

Looking at these photos I can remember vividly what it was like to be that young.. with the whole world waiting on you... with your future stretched out before you like a glittering path full of adventure.
It was absolutely great working with her and being in that energy again!
