I love it when people are open to trying new things in photography and in life... These photos are from a shoot with Kim Saltzmann (Singer/songwriter) and Jennifer Romanick (graphic artist). It was effortless getting great shots with these two because they were willing to go there... to go a little bit past their comfort zones and present a totally different side of themselves. I think that the result of our

combined effort is beautiful. A huge thank you goes out to the talented Sarah Tencer for her artistry in hair and makeup!

Susan and Paul

Here are a few engagement shots of Susan and Paul. We had a blast! We started off at the Eleanor Tinsley park because it was the spot where they had a really meaningful first date , then on to downtown. We ended by sharing a caraffe of wine and just basically having a good time! Sid and I think they are great people. You never know who you are going to meet.. I am so lucky I keep meeting the good ones!

Jana and Mat

Here are a couple of photos from a recent shoot. Jana and Mat are an incredible couple who are about to join that timeless "club" called parenthood! The excitement in the air was palpable. On this afternoon of watching and waiting for the moments between them to unfold.. I thought many times of how things would be profoundly different once the baby comes, and how its such an honor to get to photograph them right at the start of this new journey.
I love my job! I love photography, but I love people more.

Carla and Dewayne

Here is a preview of the mini engagement session with Carla and Dewayne that took place in Conroe TX. We had such a short time, but it was a really enjoyable time! It was a joy watching these two be so real with each other, hearing some of their story, and just being around people so comfortable in their own skin.
Can't wait for the wedding!
